Privacy Policy
What information we collect, how we use it, and your rights, in plain language.
Last updated September 26, 2026
True North Scales (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in plain language.
What we collect
We collect only the information you choose to share with us:
- Contact information. Your name, business name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us about your marketing challenge when you reach out through our contact form or email.
- Correspondence. Emails and messages exchanged with us.
We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive personal information such as payment details or passwords through this website.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiries and arrange next steps.
- To provide the marketing services you request.
- To send occasional updates about our services, if you’ve asked to hear from us. You can opt out at any time.
What we don’t do
- We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We don’t sell your data or share it with ad networks, beyond the basic ad-measurement tool described in “Cookies” below.
- We don’t make automated decisions about you based on this data.
Cookies
We don’t set cookies of our own, but this site does use the Meta Pixel, a standard measurement tool from Meta. When you visit, it can set a cookie (such as _fbp) so we can measure whether our own ads on Facebook and Instagram are working. It doesn’t collect your name, email, or anything you type into our forms.
You can block it any time with your browser’s tracker or ad-blocking settings; the site works fine without it. Your browser may also store standard technical data (such as fonts from Google Fonts) as part of loading the page; we don’t control or use that data.
Third-party services
Our website host may collect basic server logs (such as IP address and pages visited) needed to operate and secure the site. When you email us, your message is handled by our email provider. We choose providers that take data protection seriously, and we limit what we share to what’s needed for the service to work.
How long we keep your data
We keep inquiry emails only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client records for as long as required by law or our business needs. After that, we delete or anonymize them.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email [email protected] and we’ll handle your request promptly.
Children
This site is for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the updated version here with a new date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
